About Dr. Schlosser
David joined the library staff in 2021 as a reference assistant and went on to become Public Services Supervisor.
David graduated from Valparaiso University with degrees in both History and Communication. He continued his education at Purdue University earning a Masters and a PhD in Medieval History. David has taught as part time Faculty in Lee's Humanities department and also at Covenant College and Courtyard Classical Academy. He transitioned to full time work at the library in 2023.
In his spare time, David enjoys reading, and playing historical strategy computer games. David's wife is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Lee University. They have two wonderful daughters.
