Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement with Cleveland Public Library
Squires Library and Cleveland Public Library patrons, whose accounts are in good standing, may use their card to borrow materials from both libraries.
One of the benefits that we extend to faculty is the opportunity to borrow library resources for extended periods of time. To ensure that items are available for use by other patrons, we ask that items be returned by the due date, which is 125 days from the date of initial checkout. Individual titles may be renewed for another 45 days (for a total borrowing time of 170 days per book). After 170 days, the book will need to remain on the shelf for at least three weeks before the same faculty member may check it out again. Additionally, a faculty member may have up to 50 books checked out at one time (and this number does not include books borrowed through ILL). If a faculty member has unique circumstances, she or he should communicate directly with the library director to discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
To use the Library's databases and e-book collections, you will be asked to enter a username and password. This username and password is now your personal username and password information, the same username and password that you enter to login to Moodle, Portico, and your Lee email. For our Seminary students, this will be your Populi username and password information.
When you attempt to access the library's databases, you will see the screen below. If you are a Lee student, choose the first box. If you are a Seminary Student, choose the second box.
Lee students will automatically login with Portico/Moodle credentials
The screen for Seminary students will look like this...
If at any time you encounter trouble logging in, please contact the library for assistance. You may contact the Reference desk during library hours at (423) 614-8562 or email us anytime at library@leeuniversity.edu.
