Squires Library provides access to books and journal articles unavailable in the university's own collection through interlibrary loans. If we do not have a resource you need, we will use the information you submit using the online request form to try and locate it at another library. The library will notify you via email when your item arrives. See the instructional video to learn more information concerning our interlibrary loan request process.
An Interlibrary Loan is a transaction in which library material, or a copy of the material, is made available by one library to another upon request.
Through interlibrary loan service, eligible borrowers may access material not owned by this Library. When you turn in an interlibrary loan request, Squires Library attempts to borrow or obtain a photocopy of the needed material from another library.
What type of materials are available?
The conditions of loan services are set by national, regional, and state codes as well as by policies of individual lending libraries. Books maybe loaned or you may request a copy of specific pages/chapter. Articles are copied from periodicals.
